May 6, 2004LJNet: The LiveJournal Social Network BrowserThis is an image from Patrick Barry's (CMU) interactive visualization tool for LiveJournal. More fun with pretty social visualizations! (Oh, and if you want to know why i think these tools are at all interesting, check out the paper that Viegas and i wrote on Digital Artifacts.) Thanks for posting about the LiveJournal Browser. I didn't know about it. I'm very interested in any technologies being built to search and browse the emerging "people web" the way that the old technologies search and browse the web of documents. So far there's no way to search the "people web" as a whole, but things like this are a promising start. Thanks again.
