I wonder if i am a mutant. Computers react atrociously to me, as though i give off some energy that makes them crash and puke. No one can ever hear me on the phone, even though they can hear anyone else on my phone. I think i give off weird vibes.

I have been a “mutant” for 4 years now. Unlike most of the x-men and other super heroes, it’s easy for me to hide my abilities. I also have complete control over them. I suppose it depends on whether the individual’s appearance is altered and if he or she can control the powers. For some poeple I’m sure being a mutant is freightening, embarassing, painful among other things. As an “older” mutant (20 years old), trust me, with time things will get better.

#1- were not trying to be freaks… trust me some of us would prefer to be normal. Having a mutation isn’t all that fun. No were not going to go around looking for attention and wear a cape. XD
#2- Do you have any idea how silly it sounds to say were “superheros” when we aren’t. If we exposed ourselves to the world, lots of people would want to kill us or think we’re crazy. Thats why the majority of us “mutants” blend in and deny that we are different. It’s sad really.

Well I haven’t really posted much here in a while. Actually, I’ve never posted here much to begin with. And I was just reading up a bit on this “Mikey” person. What an ass… XD. But let me bring something out to the table that most of us already know… yes half of the people here are fake and did watch X-Men or something and convinced them selves that they have powers. But I am sure there is also people here who do have abilities. Sure I doubt it is anything big like superstrength… I mean actual SUPERSTRENGTH… Like Hollywoodised superstrength (Lifting cars with one hand kind of thing). I don’t doubt that there is someone out there who has abnormal strength but not to the point they can lift cars like that. Accept that there is fake X-Men-ised people in this webpage. And in reality, it is kind of sad that you guys are pretending to have abilities (Once again don’t take that wrong I don’t mean everyone just the ones who know their fake) because you are lacking in another area of your life.
I on the other hand do no consider my self a “mutant” or anything special. Although I do live a limited life because of what I can do. I am an empath (a fairly good one at that). I don’t care much if you guys believe me or not and neither should anybody here who actually has an ability. It IS very hard for us who can do something special. It’s the same thing for anyone who carries a secret around and dosen’t tell anyone because their afraid of rejection. Lucky me, my family and close friends know about it and are aware of what I can do and I am accepted for who I am. I wish the world were all like the people close to me… but not everyone understands. People fear the unknown… and people like us ARE the next step to the unkown.
And now to the government thing. The reason I think they haven’t give much thought to this is because they probably (Like you Mike) think that we are a bunch of kids who have watched too much X-Men. If anything, lucky us that you all think that way, keeps us safe ;). I’m sure it will be known eventually and I doubt there will be this huge “mutant” war against the “normies”. Discrimination? More than likely… But that is a normal thing of humanity. And if you ARE a “Mutant”, I am sure you won’t have trouble defending your self.

I would very strongly suggest to not tell ur parents,only b/c i have tried and they will ingnore you hand they wont understand.And about ur power just work at it and learn to controll it if not done so far. If there is anyone around you that is like us than have them help, but that is all that i can say right now on this subject.
