Hunting for Bambi

My friends know me. My colleagues know me. And V-Day organizers know how to panic. I received well over a dozen pointers to this article about Hunting for Bambi, a game where men pay large amounts of money to hunt and shoot naked women with paintguns. The site hilights its shocking blend of sex and violence.

Hi, I came over from Doc Searls' and saw your link here... Meryl Yourish pointed out the other day that Snopes.com is investigating, and is inclined to believe it's a hoax:

hey danah,

this just in: apparently there's some evidence to suggest that "hunting for bambi" was originally conceived as a hoax... but now that it's gotten so much attention, they may try to actually do it for real. egads!
