Folks at USC have developed a visualization of emails. I don’t get the bubbles. The system is called eArchivarius.
I don’t know why dragging skeletons makes me giggle, but it definitely does.
Hmmm.. i just found out about a scary little socnet visualization tool – Watson. Apparently, it was built for the police in Britain… they would log into the phone company, suck down all the data and come up with social networks visualizations. Fun fun.
oooh – text arc is this gorgeous program that does cool things with text and visualization. it’s very similar to ben fry‘s work with valences, all of which are just so intriguing as visualizations of textual data. now, if only someone would take visualization of text to a new level and play with the structure of the glyphs, i’d be ecstatic.
