Introducing Soc101 for HCI-Types

A group of us HCI-types decided that it would be wise to learn the theoretical underpinnings of sociology. The only class at Berkeley that we could get into on this topic was an undergrad one - Soc101. We decided that we didn't want to take the course as is, but focus on how this applies to the current state of technological development. Thus, we are (somewhat) attending the lectures to Soc101, reading all of the materials and running our own section where we engage with the topics in a more personally meaningful manner. These are some of the haphazard notes from that class.
