{"id":1596,"date":"2005-10-11T23:14:42","date_gmt":"2005-10-11T23:14:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ubuntu.my\/wp30\/archives\/2005\/10\/11\/fucked_up_blog.html"},"modified":"2005-10-11T23:14:42","modified_gmt":"2005-10-11T23:14:42","slug":"fucked_up_blog","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.zephoria.org\/thoughts\/archives\/2005\/10\/11\/fucked_up_blog.html","title":{"rendered":"fucked up blog mash up"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Upon doing an ego search in Technorati, i came across a disturbing blog: <a href=\"http:\/\/convenience-8900ca.blogspot.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow\">Dominos Pizza<\/a>.   <a href=\"http:\/\/convenience-8900ca.blogspot.com\/2005\/10\/i-talked-on-phone-today-why-yes-i-do.html\" rel=\"nofollow\">One entry<\/a> begins with &#8220;I talked on the phone today (why yes, I do still use analog communication media\u2026) with danah boyd.&#8221;  At first, i was like no you didn&#8217;t.  And then i was like, wait, i know that statement.  It comes from a post on <a href=\"http:\/\/mamamusings.net\/archives\/2005\/08\/10\/mindshare_market_share_and_monopolies.php\">mamamusings<\/a>.    But it&#8217;s not the whole post.  And then i started searching for parts of the rest of the entry and figured out that it&#8217;s a mash up of different blog entries from different places.  No citations, no references.  All just out of place.  There&#8217;s no clear link spamming going on (although there are some strange linkings).  There is though a statement about why Dominos Pizza is the best (which makes me cringe since i&#8217;ve been boycotting them for 8 years running given that the CEO funds violent anti-abortion organizations).<\/p>\n<p>So what gives?  Any other sleuth out there have a good sense of what this blog is about?
