My understanding is that Senate Bill 1738 is an Omnibus bill, which means that by approving it, you also agree to a lot of other smaller bills. They have grouped all of them together. I am still trying to figure out if the Mothers Act is part of this bill, which scares me. I would stand completely behind funding our law enforcement agencies to better combat internet porn, but I would not vote for it if I also inadvertently voted in favor of the Mothers Act, which basically just stimulates our pharmaceutical companies more. I also watched Oprah’s show and was horrified by its content.
