I am in the middle of getting IRB permission to do an innocuous human subjects project. Well, I have already blown it sky high, and I feel as if the IRB, while important in providing protection for students/subject from harm, may be using a machete for removing a speck of dust in the eye. The Santa analogy was dead on. Thank you for some shedding some humour on a matter that has caused me much grief. This is absolutely awesome.
