For the record, when Abrams said “so that’s how i thought of the term social networking” …that’s the part where I felt he was claiming to have coined the phrase “social networking”. Which I still think is a reasonable inference.

Delusional, ignorant, revisionist, whatever. At the very end of his talk he says “and remember you can cancel your Friendster account at any time” which I did within seconds.
